Tradenet Review 2023: The Best Way to Learn Day Trading? - Modest Money

What is Tradenet?

Tradenet is an educational platform and  paper trading platform wrapped into one. Founded by Meir Barak (the author of the trading book "The Market Whisperer") in 2004, the website hosts a variety of resources for users to take advantage of.

Although the majority of the services offered by Tradenet are paid services, it does offer free services as well. This makes Tradenet approachable to newer traders who want to see if the platform is right for them before investing any money.

In addition to educational courses, Tradenet also offers 1-on-1 coaching, mentorship programs, and personal coaching services.

Features

Next, let's take a closer look at the individual services that Tradenet has to offer. Remember, many of these services are available as stand-alone products and as part of a package. You should always take an in-depth look at each offering to see which option will work best for you.

Courses

Tradenet offers educational courses at a variety of experience levels (ranging from "intro" to "Pro"). "Self study" courses are designed to be general introductory courses, covering the basics of day trading and enabling students to start building their trading skills.

Individual courses that aren't self study tend to be more specific. One such example is the Star Trader Course, which covers topics like "Fibonacci and the golden ratio" and "Getting to grips with Japanese candlesticks".

Coaching

Coaching services are offered in a number of different ways: personal coaching, mentorship sessions, and 1 on 1. "1 on 1" is a one-time, one-hour-long coaching class, while personal coaching and mentorship sessions are ongoing commitments.

Chat Room

Complete with real-time data charts and graphs, this chat room will instantly connect you with fellow traders and analysts from around the world. You can get questions answered, learn from the pros, and watch live trades in the chat room on all active trading days.

Trading Services

Tradenet offers a demo challenge that allows traders to test their trading skills in a virtual setting before moving on to real funds or a funded trading challenge. If a trader is deemed worthy by Tradenet, the company will connect them with a proprietary trading firm for funded trading.

Pricing & Plans

The amount of money that stock traders need to sink into Tradenet will ultimately depend on the level of education they require. Here's a quick overview of the prices you can expect to pay.

Free

Tradenet offers a variety of free resources—such as webinars, ebooks, and blog posts—through their free day trading course. The company also offers a 14-day free trial to their trading chat room.

Paid

Prices vary widely for the paid services. For complete packages, prices vary from as little as $500 to as high as $9,000 for access to the program. Higher-tiered packages will unlock additional benefits (such as mentorship or the Star Trader Course).

However, coaching and mentorship services—as well as access to the chat room—can also be purchased independently of the complete packages. Prices vary from $99/month for chat room access to as high as $5,000 for five personal coaching sessions.

Is Tradenet Right for You?

Covering a wide range of trading methodologies and strategies, offering multiple educational resources, and featuring a comprehensive demo trading challenge, Tradenet provides a great learning experience for traders of all levels.

The prices are rather high, but—with plenty of different packages offered—it should be easy to find and select the best value for your money (and particular needs). Although it's a shame that some of these resources are not offered to US citizens, we would highly recommend anyone who's eligible to take advantage of these opportunities.
