Stock Futures Rise as Investors Look to Extend S&P 500's 8-Week Win Streak - Barron's

Stock futures were rising Tuesday to begin the last week of trading of 2023. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were rising 39 points, or 0.1%. S&P 500 futures were up 0.1% while Nasdaq Composite futures gained 0.2%. Investors returned to Wall Street on Tuesday after taking a break for the Christmas holiday on Monday with an eight-week winning streak for the S&P 500 on the line. Some economic data to look forward to in the week ahead include the Case-Shiller report on Tuesday, jobless claims on Thursday, and Chicago PMI on Friday.
